Create a data storytelling asset

Goal. Produce one leadership-ready asset that highlights key HR insights and communicates business impact. Choose a one-page brief or a three-slide deck.

Steps.

1. Choose your data: the Brightwater dataset and comments, or approved, de-identified data from your organisation.
2. Write the question you are answering.
3. Analyse with AI using the workflow in Lesson 4.2. Record the prompts you used.
4. Verify: recalculate every number that will appear; check every quotation.
5. Translate one finding into business impact, with stated assumptions.
6. Choose a story framework and draft the asset. Include one chart whose title states the takeaway.

1. Add a short methods note: data source, group sizes, response rates, what was verified and how, and the limits of the analysis.

Deliverables. The asset; the methods note; your prompt log.

Check your work. Does the headline contain a number and a finding? Could a leader repeat your recommendation after one reading? Is every figure traceable? Have you said how confident you are?
